How cookies work
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. They can keep a signed-in session working, remember a choice, support security, measure use, or help deliver advertising. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels, and device identifiers.
Cookies currently used
NerveFilter does not currently use a public visitor-account system, an analytics service, or an advertising network. WordPress, the hosting provider, security systems, and a visitor’s browser may still use cookies or similar storage that are necessary to deliver and protect the site. Logged-in administrators may receive authentication, session, and preference cookies.
Comments are disabled
Public comments are disabled across NerveFilter. Visitors are not currently shown a public comment form or a checkbox that saves commenter details, and NerveFilter does not intentionally set WordPress comment-author cookies. If commenting is enabled in the future, the Privacy Policy and this Cookies Policy will be updated before the feature is opened.
Advertising cookies if ads are activated
If Google advertising is approved and activated, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to NerveFilter or other websites. Google and its partners may use those cookies for personalized or non-personalized advertising, measurement, frequency control, and fraud prevention.
You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. You can also read how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. If another advertising network is introduced, the relevant provider and controls will be added to this policy.
Consent where required
Before non-essential advertising or measurement technologies are used in locations where consent is required, NerveFilter will configure an appropriate Google-certified consent platform. The consent message will provide the choices required for the applicable region. Withdrawing or changing a choice will be available through the consent controls provided on the site.
Your browser choices
Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies and clear site storage. Blocking all cookies can affect how some websites work, including administrator sign-in and security features. Browser controls do not necessarily replace the separate advertising or consent choices described above.
Policy updates and contact
